To study on an effective potential in non-Abelian theor;es
Description
Extrema are found of the one-loop effective potential which depends upon the scalar field belonging to the adjoined representation fof the gauge group SU(N). Convenient formulas are derived Which determine masses of Higgs excitations in broken symmetry phases. Phase state diagrams are found in Coleman-Weinberg SU(N) model taking into account various interactions (in particular, for realistic SU(5) model taking into account interaction with 5-plet of Higgs fields)
