Description
A semiclassical approach based on the Vlasov kinetic equation is generalized for investigations of isovector vibrations in a finite Fermi system. The isovector response of a Fermi liquid drop is considered for L 1, 2, 3. The strength distribution is found in the region of nuclear giant resonances. Collision effects between particles are taken into account. It is found that the width of the strength distribution is mainly caused by the interplay of the one-body damping mechanism and collisional one
