Description
By means of the magneto-optical Kerr effect the domain structure of the surface grains of RE-Fe-B-based sintermagnets is investigated. The dependence of the saturation field on the angle Φ between external field and preferred direction of the sample follows a 1/cos Φ-law whereas the coercive field follows a Stoner-Wohlfarth-like behaviour.
