This is a progress report, describing the research in nuclear physics carried out by the theoretical nuclear physics group of the Department of Physics of the University of Texas at Austin, during the period from December 1, 1974 to December 31, 1975. The accomplishments of the theoretical nuclear physics group during 1975 are summarized. Both work completed and work in progress are covered
