Intermediate polars observed from Brazil in the last eight years
Description
The results of observations done, in the last eight years, of the Intermidiate Polars (IP): EX Hya, V1223 Sgr, FO Agr and Ao Psc, are presented. The IP define a subclass of cataclysmic variable stars that present coherent oscillations in their optical and/or X-ray emission. The observations were done from Laboratorio Nacional de Astrofisica, in Itajuba (Brazil). The stability of oscillations in IP was analysed to study the nature of compact stars. (M.C.K.)

Apresentam-se os resultados de observacoes feitas nos ultimos oito anos das Polares Intermediarias (IP): EX Hya, V1223 Sgr, FO Agr e AO Psc. As IP definem uma subclasse de estrelas variaveis cataclismicas que apresentam oscilacoes coerentes na emissao otica e/ou de raios-X. As observacoes foram feitas do Laboratorio Nacional de Astrofisica, em Itajuba (M.G.). Analisou-se a estabilidade das oscilacoes em IP para estudar a natureza de estrelas compactas. (M.C.K.)Files
