Filtered venting to be installed at Barsebaeck

Creators

Description

A description is given of the filtered containment venting system which is to be installed at the Barsebaeck station in Sweden. The system was called for following the accident at Three Mile Island. It will relieve excess pressure in the containment and reduce releases of radioactive substances resulting from a containment over-pressurization accident. (U.K.)
