Environmental radiation monitoring system around the nuclear power facilities

Nuclear power plants need measuring environmental radiation around the facilities. The environmental radiation monitoring system monitors variations in the radiation level by continuously measuring and controlling environmental radiation. Recently, the data of environmental radiation has been publicized by prefectural public acceptance (PA) activities, etc. This paper describes our environmental radiation monitoring system that was designed giving priority to high reliability and PA under these circumstances.
