Effects of structural changes in reactor RA spent fuel storage on its criticality parameters

Description

Having in mind the forthcoming activities on improving the research reactor RA spent fuel storage conditions, a study of the influence of structural changes in the storage on its criticality parameters if performed. In particular, the following effects are analysed; the influence of cadmium distribution, as well as its representation in the calculational model, the impact of the water quantity present in the pool and the influence of the upper reflector. Conclusions made are relevant for safe management of the reactor RA spent fuel. (author)
