Description
Fermium isotopes with mass numbers from 244 to 258 and their nuclear properties are reviwed. Ion exchange with the use of α-oxy-isobutyric acid and extraction chromatography with di-2-ethylhexylphosphoric acid are discussed as the means of isolating fermium. Stability constants of fermium inner complex compounds are given, as well as redox-potentials of Fm(4)/Fm(3) and Fm(3)/Fm(2) couples
