Dynamics of a beam-plasma discharge in an adiabatic magnetic trap
- 1. Khar'kovskij Fiziko-Tekhnicheskij Inst., Khar'kov (Ukraine)
Description
Application of the X-ray methodology made it possible to determine the plasma expansion velocity in the direction perpendicular to the magnetic field power lines and calculate the diffusion turbulent coefficient. Correlation of the diffusion coefficient and high-frequency oscillations amplitude, excited in the system, which led to the electrons heating and plasma expansion, is established. The significant effect of the magnetic field on the transfer processes is identified
Abstract (Russian)
Additional details
