Measuring Neutrino Interactions with MiniBooNE

  • 1. Physics Department, Indiana University Bloomington, IN 47405 (United States)

Description

The MiniBooNE neutrino oscillation experiment has collected a large sample of charged- and neutral-current neutrino interaction events. These samples are important to understand the normalization and backgrounds in neutrino oscillation searches. They also reveal insight into the structure of the nucleus and nucleon. The MiniBooNE experiment is briefly described and the neutrino reactions and the underlying physics topics presented
