Features of legal regime of radiation hazardous lands (UDC 349.41(476)(075.8))
Description
Automatic translation: The disaster at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant led to the emergence of radiation hazardous lands, which is one of the most severe consequences for the territories exposed to radiation contamination. In accordance with article 5 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus ''On the legal regime of territories exposed to radioactive contamination as a result of the disaster at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant'', radiation hazardous lands are those located in the territories of radioactive contamination, where the production of products corresponding to the republican permissible levels of radionuclide content or interstate economic agreements. These lands, depending on the density of soil contamination with radionuclides and the degree of exposure to radiation on a person, are excluded from economic use or restrictions on economic activities are imposed on them.
Abstract (Russian)
Катастрофа на Чернобыльской АЭС привела к возникновению ра-диационно опасных земель, что является одним из наиболее тяжелых последствий для территорий, подвергшихся радиационному загрязне-нию. В соответствии со статьей 5 Закона Республики Беларусь «О право-вом режиме территорий, подвергшихся радиоактивному загрязнению в результате катастрофы на Чернобыльской АЭС» радиационно опасными признаются земли, расположенные на территориях радиоактив-ного загрязнения, на которых не обеспечивается производство продук-ции, соответствующей республиканским допустимым уровням содер-жания радионуклидов или межгосударственным экономическим со-глашениям. Данные земли в зависимости от плотности загрязнения почв радионуклидами и степени воздействия радиации на человека исключаются из хозяйственного пользования либо на них вводятся ограничения хозяйственной деятельности.Additional details
