Description
Results presented in this paper were obtained with uranium targets of 30 to 40 μg/cm2 thickness irradiated with neutrons. The objectives were the following: 1) the selection of a suitable technique for targets preparation which gives adequate results with respect to uniformity and fabrication cost; 2) the calibration of an automated tracks counting device. Our laboratory facilities allow us to prepare the fissile material targets by electrodeposition, vacuum evaporation and electrospraying. (author)
