Description
We compared acute and late complications between 3-D conformal radiotherapy and arc, multiple field and A-P field techniques. A-P field technique made more severe acute complications of skin and low gastrointestines than 3-D conformal and arc techniques, statistically. Arc technique also made severe acute genitourinary complications. In addition, 3-D conformal techniques also brought about low late skin and gastrointestinal complications than arc and A-P field techniques. We conclude 3-D conformal technique can reduce both the acute and late complications more than other techniques. (author)
