Process for assembling a nuclear fuel element
Description
Before insertion into the spacers, the fuel rocks are coated with a self-hardening layer of water-soluble polyvinyl and/or polyether polymer to prevent scratches on the cladding tubes. After insertion, the protective conting is removed by means of water. (orig.)

Die Brennstaebe werden vor dem Einziehen in die Abstandshalter mit einem Schutzueberzug aus einem selbsthaertenden, wasserloeslichen Polyvinyl- und/oder Polyetherpolimer ueberzogen, um ein Verkratzen der Huellrohre zu vermeiden. Der Ueberzug wird nach dem Einbau mit Wasser entfernt. (orig.)Files
