Interaction of H3+ cluster ions with solid foils

Description
The yields of H-, H, H2, H2+ and H3+ for H3+ clusters passing through carbon foils have been measured. The results showed that the charge exchange process in the interaction of H3+ ions with solids plays a key role in the formation of these products. The cluster effects and wake effects of H3+ ions in solids are also discussed in detail
