The study of diffractive photoproduction of J/ψ at large γ-p Energy in the ZEUS experiment at HERA

Description

The proton-dissociative diffractive photoproduction of J/ψ mesons has been studied in ep collisions with the ZEUS detector at HERA using an integrated luminosity of 36 pb-1. The differential cross-section dσ/dt has been measured at W ≅ 200 GeV, where W is the centre-of-mass energy of the photon-proton system, for vertical stroke t vertical stroke values up to 7 GeV2, where t is the squared four-momentum transfer at the proton vertex. The results are compared to expectations of theoretical models. (orig.)
