Investigation about the occurrence of the multi-step process in the 12C(3He, α)11C reaction at 11 MeV

Description
The differential cross section for the α gropus leading to the ground state and to the first and second excited states of residual nucleus in the 12C(3He,α)11C reaction has been measured at 11.0 MeV. By comparison of the experimental angular distributions with D.W.B.A. and C.C.B.A. calculated curves, it seems that the multistep mechanism plays an important role in explaining the forbiden transition
