Primakoff production of the B/sup +/(1235) meson
Description
The authors present data on the coherent nuclear production of the π/sup +/ε system, dominated by the B meson. Based on the production cross-section, the ratiative width of the B, Γ (B→πΥ) is 230 +- 60 keV. The unconventional (electromagnetic) production mechanism yields a mass of 1271 +- 11 MeV and a full width of 232 +- 29 MeV for the B
