HBK project high temperature reactor fuel cycle. Pre-treatment report for the experiment HFR-P5 (Petten - designation D 162.02)
Description
Automatic translation: For testing the current reference particle design - UO2 - fuel cores with low enrichment and LTI-TRISO coating - are radiation experiments intended with different objectives. The test HFR-P5 (Petten designation D 162.02) is used as part of this test program the determination of the load limits of the particle design at increased Temperatures and temperature gradients. Also in this gradient test two other types of particles are used to create the effect of a reinforced SiC layer on the retention of fission products and the influence an addition of carbide to the UO2 fuel on the suppression of the amoeba effect to investigate.
Abstract (German)
Files
