Description
At TAPS 1200 radiation workers are monitored on a monthly basis. Computer-aided data processing is helpful to control the personnel exposures in nuclear power plants where quickness, reliability and accuracy are involved. A new algorithm DABTAP (Computer Data Base Code for TAPS) was developed for the analysis of voluminous dose data and has been made operational on IBM PC/XT and SN-23 computer. Statistics reports are printed. Dose analysis is also done by this code which helps to keep individual's dose equivalents within limits and also for arranging planned exposures with selective radiation workers quickly. The same software with little modification can be used in other power reactors for personnel monitoring. (author). 1 ref
