Radiation-thermal effect of dissolution of parasitic phases in ceramic materials
- 1. Tomskij Politekhnicheskij Univ., Tomsk (Russian Federation)
Description
Investigations into phase transformations during radiation-thermal (RT) treatment of sintered lithium ferrite and high-temperature superconducting (HTSC) ceramics were conducted. Investigations were conducted specimens of the following compositions: Li2CO3 11.2, TiO2 18.65, ZnO 7.6, MnCO3 2.74, Fe2O3 59.81, Y2O3 17.15, CuO 36.24, BaCO3 46.61. They were synthesized and sintered according to traditional ceramic technology. Radiation-thermal treatment of ceramics leads to increase of critical current density. Its value is 5 times higher, than initial one after irradiation at 400 deg C up to 1.2x109 rad absorbed dose. Increase of temperature of HTSC ceramics treatment leads to increase of efficiency of observed process. 1 ref.; 1 fig.; 1 tab
