Description
Magnetization process of GdFe-alloy/Fe multilayered films was investigated both experimentally and theoretically. This is a kind of field induced magnetic phase transition similar to spin floppings in ferrimagnets. The spins start to flop in rather weak fields. To explain the process, a fan spin structure is assumed. (orig.)
