Description
That the size of a nucleon increases when bound is shown to follow in first order from the attractive nature of the binding potential. We give two simple demonstrations of the connection of size change with the sign of the external potential, the generality of which helps to connect a wide class of successful explanations of medium modifications of the form factor and of the European Muon Collaboration effect
