Creators

Description

A radiation detector developed by Thomson and Nielsen Electronics Ltd. of Kanata, Ontario will be travelling into space on board the European Space Agency's ARTEP satellite sometime in the 1990s. The technology got its start with a contract from the Canadian and U.S. governments to develop a personal portable radon monitor to be worn by uranium miners. Their product range now includes a variety of electronic dosimeters for measuring radon and other radiation sources
