Analyses of the dynamic behaviour of nuclear installation under external loads

Description

This paper demonstrates the dynamic analysis of a reactor building which is subject to earthquake loading. The purpose of this investigation is to calculate characteristic dynamical parameters at certain positions of the structure, such as floor time histories. Following the selection of a typical earthquake time history the reactor building is modelled with Finite Elements. The calculations are performed with the program system ASKA using Time History Modal Analysis. Prior to the response calculation the eigenvalue problem is solved. The results of the analysis, such as displacements, stresses and floor time histories will be discussed in view of the chosen earthquake excitation. (orig.)

Abstract (German)

In dem vorliegenden Bericht wird beispielhaft eine Analyse der Beanspruchungen eines Reaktorgebaeudes auf Grund eines Erdbebenzeitverlaufs durchgefuehrt mit dem Ziel, die Bewegungsgroessen an einzelnen Punkten des Bauwerkes (Floor Time Histories) anzugeben. Nach Auswahl des Erdbebenzeitverlaufes wird die Idealisierung des Reaktorgebaeudes durch ein FE-Modell beschrieben; die Berechnungen erfolgen mit dem Programmsystem ASKA nach dem Verfahren der Time History Modal Analysis. Zunaechst wird das Eigenwertproblem geloest. Nach Ankopplung des Erdbebenzeitverlaufs an das Modell wird die eigentliche Erdbebenberechnung durchgefuehrt. Als Ergebnis dieser Analyse werden Verschiebungen, Spannungen und Floor Time Histories fuer die vorgegebene Erdbebenerregung dargestellt und diskutiert. (orig.)
