Considered are the reasons and mechanism of crack initiation in welded joints of NPS vessel equipment. Presented are the results of investigation of cracking conditions at reheats of welded constructions made of 15Kh2MFA, 15Kh2NMFA and 10GN2MFA steels and the methods for prevention of such cracks initiation
