Calculations of the thermal conductivity in the mixed state of a dirty superconductor
Description
Calculations of the electronic contribution to the thermal conductivity in two different geometries are reported. In the longitudinal geometry, the temperature gradient is parallel to the magnetic flux, and is uniform throughout the specimen. The conductivity of the specimen is given by the spatial average of the local conductivity. In the transverse geometry the temperature distribution is determined by numerical integration of the continuity equation. (Auth.)
