Delineation of a integral safety doctrine for Brazilian nuclear submarines

Description

This paper examines the subject of the safety of nuclear naval ships as well as its influence on reactor protection and safety. The fundamental questions of safety are discussed. A synthesis is presented delineating the basic lines for the formal establishment of specific requirements for the safety of nuclear submarines, its crews, the public and the environment. (author)
