A-dependence of the cross section for production of charmed baryons Λ+/sub c/ in neutron-nucleus interactions
Description
The BIS-2 spectrometer has been used to observe the production of charmed baryons Λ+/sub c/ in nuclei of C, Al, and Cu by neutrons with average effective energy about 58 GeV. Data are obtained on the A-dependence of the inclusive cross section for production of Λ+/sub c/. In parametrization of this dependence in the form σ(A)∼A/sup α/ in the kinematic region 0.5approx. <xapprox. <1 and p/sub T/ <1 GeVc we obtain α = 0.73 +- 0.20
