Einstein imaging observations of clusters of galaxies
Creators

Description
The dynamical evolution of clusters can be used to classify galaxy clusters based on their X-ray images coupled with optical properties. The authors describe in some detail the X-ray imaging observations of the Virgo cluster, other dynamically unevolved clusters, 'double' clusters, and dynamically evolved clusters in the context of this classification scheme.
