Description
The standard pertains to equipment for direct measurement and detection of radionuclide contamination on surfaces such as tables, floors, clothes, shoes, skin. Equipment according to this standard consists of: (1) One or more detector units (counting tube, scintillation detector, semiconductor detector; (2) a measuring unit; (3) a display unit either integrated into the measuring unit, or separate; (4) a mechanical part. Die Norm gilt fuer Geraete zum direkten Messen oder Nachweisen von Radionuklid-Kontaminationen auf Oberflaechen, wie Tischen, Boeden, Kleidung, Schuhunterseiten, Haut. Geraete nach dieser Norm bestehen aus: a) Einer oder mehreren Detektorsonden (Zaehlrohr, Szintillationsdetektor, Halbleiterdetektor); b) einem Messteil; c) einer Anzeigeeinheit, die im Messteil integriert oder getrennt ausgefuehrt sein kann; d) einem mechanischen Teil.
