Description
A recently developed equipment for the readout of TSEE dosemeters employs a wide-range proportional counter for exoelectron detection. In order to improve its pulse resolution we were interested in the exact contribution of electrons to the time dependence of the pulse. This contribution is completely neglected by the Ramsey-Wilkinson theory. Therefore the pulse shape was calculated by using the assumption of the Diethorn approximation, taking the electron contribution into account. With respect to the ion contribution the results showed good agreement with the Ramsey-Wilkinson theory. (orig.)
