Selection of anode-cathode distance in x-ray tube manufacturing
Description
Factors affecting the choice of anode-cathode distance in x-ray tube are reviewed. Among these factors the most important one is found to be the sparking voltage. Through solving the paraxial ray equation and accepting 0.1 mm tolerance in focal spot size, a relationship between maximum anode voltage and Anode-Cathode distance is obtained
