Isotope ventriculography in a case of non-vasularized brain tumour
Description
In the reported case a large expanding lesion in the left cerebral hemisphere undetectable during angiography, compressed the lateral ventricle and shifted slightly the third ventricle to the right which was demonstrated in positive-contrast ventriculography. Isotope investigation after direct administration of 0.5 mCi DTPA Tcsup(99m) into the ventricular system demonstrated absence of normal passage of the cerebrospinal fluid in the left ventricle.
