Complex tuning of a multicharged ion linear accelerator

Description
Parameters and results of multicharged ion linear accelerator adjustment are presented. The accelerator is designed for ion acceleration from He to Ar up to the energy of 8.5 MeV/nucleon. In the process of adjustment He42+ ions were accelerated and the power of 0.4 MW fed the resonator. The current of helium ion was 20 mA. During adjustment drift tubes with grid focusing were used
