Radon safety in residental and public buildings
Description
All living things live with radiation. As part of their lives,they are absorbed radiation by the natural sources such as soil and building materials, water and food, and in addition to artificial sources due to the outer space and the sun's cosmic rays, radioactive isotopes on the Earth. People are exposed to an annual dose of 2.5 mSv, with changes depending on living standards, physical characteristics of the environment, and geographical conditions. Residential buildings are an indication of the artificial environment today includes indoor climate and pollution, biological impacts, and various physical injuries. Housing, workplaces, and public spaces are very important in terms of the associated field assessments. It has been found that the pollution ratio in the close environment is higher than that of the open environment. Most of the radon in the homes comes from the land where the house was built. If the cellar is ground, radon can spread easily.
