Estimated mass of the second excited state of the phi(1.02) meson from a sum rule for a quarkonium spectrum
Description
The mass of the second excited state of the phi(1.02) meson is estimated by making use of the recently suggested sum rule for a quarkonium spectrum. This estimate is based on the assumption that both the first excited state [i.e., the phi(1.68)] and the second excited state of the phi(1.02) are pure radial excitations. Under this assumption, the estimated mass of the second excited state of the phi(1.02) is found to be 2.07 GeV
