Resonant behavior of the elastic 12C-16O scattering

Description
The angular distributions for 12C-16O elastic scattering at Tandem energies were measured for low energy steps (320keV c.m.) with an excitation function. The shape of the cross section, especially the oscillation phase, presents few changes in the regions where theta < 60 deg and theta > 150 deg; on the other hand very fast changes in the form are observed as a function of energy, in the intermediate region. The excitation function shows the existence of three resonances

On a mesure les distributions angulaires de la diffusion elastique 12C-16O aux energies du Tandem par pas d'energie faible (320keV c.m.) et on a mesure une fonction d'excitation. La forme de la section efficace, en particulier la phase des oscillations, change peu dans les regions ou theta<60 deg et >150 deg; par contre dans la region intermediaire on observe des changements de forme tres rapides avec l'energie.
