Selected review of foreign licensing practices for nuclear power plants
Description
A compilation and description of current US and foreign licensing and regulatory practices, considering areas of particular interest associated with seismology, meteorology, hydrology, structural engineering, metallurgy and materials, and mechanical engineering are presented. Also included is a brief description of nuclear power plant regulatory and licensing organizations involved. The particular countries surveyed are the following: Canada, France, Japan, Sweden, United Kingdom, United States, and the Federal Republic of Germany
