Reactivity of applied and dissolved vanadium(5) complexes during reduction with phosphine

Description
The reduction kinetics of vanadium(5) oxygen-containing complexes applied to silica gel with phosphine in the presence of iodide-ions is studied. Protonation and partial kinetic constants characterizing the reaction capability of vanadium(5) complexes are calculated. It is established that oxidation capability of vanadium(5) complexes applied and dissolved increases in VO2+(aq) < VO(OH)2+(aq) < VO3+(aq) series
