Dynamics of structural elements of nuclear power plants during seismic effects

Description
The most frequent mathematical descriptions are shown of earth crust seismic vibrations. For numerical calculations, general mechanical systems are modelled using a spatial network of point discontinuities characterized by weight, rigidity and damping. The equations of motion of the model of a mechanical system exposed to excitation of seismic nature are solved by the direct difference method. The numerical solution of the problem of a simple mechanical system response is given as an example. (author)
