Description
The nuclear data of photo-reactions on tritium (3H) were evaluated using the moving deuteron model, which postulates that 3H is a composite nucleus of deuteron and neutron. Experimental cross sections were reproduced well with the model. Feasibility to reduce 3H density in a waste water using bremsstrahlung photons was estimated by Monte Carlo simulation. It is found that quite small depletion rate is obtained, and thus, this method does not seem to be feasible. (author)
