Orbital computed tomography of blast injury (detection and localization of metallic foreign body)

Description

It is realized that the detection and accurate localization of metallic foreign bodies within the orbit in the blast injured patient is essential in the treatment plan and prognosis. The author has experienced 10 cases of orbital computed tomography (CT) of the blast injury. Therefore, the author report the usefulness and problems of orbital CT for the detection and localization of metallic foreign bodies
