Effect of electron screening on thermonuclear reaction rate
Description
The enhancement factor of thermonuclear reaction rates due to the effects of plasma screening is calculated for a degenerate weakly non-ideal electron gas and multy-component strongly coupled ion liquid. The screening effects without and with the account for the polarizability of electron gas are considered. The results may be applied for degenerate cores of white dwarfs and enevelopes of neutron stars
