Sulfate ion reorientational dynamics and superionic conductivity in CsDSO4

Description
Raman spectra of CsDSO4 orientated monocrystals excited by an argon laser are investigated. The frequency range of completely symmetric valency oscillation ν, of a sulfate ion is studied in detail. The two vividly observed effects: appearance of the less intensive satellite ν11=1053 cm-1 on the ν1 line and increase of half-line broadening of the main tone ν1 are analyzed
