Adsorption kinetics of dimethyl amine borane on platinum electrode

Description
The results of the adsorption kinetics investigation of dimethyl amine borane (CH3)2HN-BH3(DMAB) from alkaline electrolyte (0.1 MNaOH) on smooth platinum electrode using the method of a rapid potentiodynamic pulses are pre-- sented. The dependence of the degree of filling THETA'sub(R) on DMAB concentration has a linear character. DMAB adsorption occurs with rather low rate while the THETA'sub(R) magnitude value grows linearly with the increase of logarithm of time. Kinetic isotherms retain the logarithmic character in case of the adsorption potential variation. The data reflecting the surface filling by adsorbate at 293-363 K. The activation energy values linearly increase with the increase of surface filling. The adsorption rate drops with the PH growth
