Mean lifetime measurements of 58,60 Ni excited states by means of DSAM after (n, n'γ) reaction with reactor fast neutrons

Description
The reaction (n, n'γ) is suitable for application to the Doppler-shift attenuation method (DSAM) in mean lifetime measurements of states excited up to 5 MeV by simultaneous measurement of two targets in this reaction. Results for the mean lifetimes of some 58,60Ni excited states are reported in the paper. The latter are based on the standard Blaugrund's theory. (authors)
