Radial expansion effects on spallation IMF formation

  • 1. Hokkaido Univ., Graduate School of Science, Division of Physics, Sapporo, Hokkaido (Japan)

Description

We investigate non-equilibrium shape and radial expansion effects in high energy proton-induced nuclear fragmentation within a percolation model. We find that observed fragment mass, angular and energy distributions are well explained if fragments are formed from expanding non-spherical shaped region before reaching equilibrium. (author)
