The influence of the amplitude of signal charge and of the doping level on the distribution of carriers in a surface CCD

Description

A more accurate model of mobile charge in a surface CCD is studied on the basis of the results previously obtained by the author. An analytical solution is used for an optimization of the structure of these devices; it is also established a qualitative criterium for the range of validity of unidimensional (in space) transfer calculations.
